Housing

The YMCA is committed to providing a place for young people, particularly in times of need.

YMCA England, in partnership with our local YMCA Managing Agents, will do all that we can to respond effectively to the needs of young people.  Unfortunately we cannot immediately accommodate everyone who applies to us for housing.  We try to ensure that we maintain a ‘balanced’ community within our housing schemes, and give as many young people as possible their first chance at independent living.

Whilst resident with us, our local YMCAs will work with you to: maintain relationships with your family; take up opportunities for training or work; and develop your confidence and social skills.
