Wyre YMCA operates 113 London Street as a move-on accommodation available for residents who have been accommodated at Wyre YMCA Foyer.
Young people accommodated at Wyre YMCA Foyer are invited to present an expression of interest to move into 113 London Street when they feel they are capable of semi- independent living.
Residents at 113 London Street work closely with the staff of Wyre YMCA Foyer on a specific moving – on training programme, designed to ensure that when they move into independent living they have developed the confidence and skills to maintain a Tenancy.

Additional Opportunities Available at Wyre YMCA
All young people accessing the scheme work closely with the staff to develop and achieve their full potential, Wyre YMCA operate a holistic approach to the young people we support, through an individual personal and social development plan.
Young people accessing the scheme have the opportunity to achieve accredited learning, to support them in their application for further training and employment. This includes, Basic Food Hygiene courses, Basic First Aid, Customer services courses. Wyre YMCA is also in the process of delivering Youth Achievement Awards.
Wyre YMCA also operates a community facility, hosting a dance studio, music I.T, and recording suite, and leisure and fitness facilities, all facilities operated by Wyre YMCA are available for the young people of the Wyre YMCA Foyer scheme to access.
Homelessness Services Available at Wyre YMCA
The young people resident at Wyre YMCA Foyer, through funding from Awards for All, have developed a DVD resource on Youth Homelessness. The young people developed the resource to challenge the stereotypes of youth homelessness, and portray the message that it is financially and emotionally difficult living away from the parental home. The young residents of the scheme have delivered this DVD resource within local schools, to Year 10 and 11 students.
Fylde Coast YMCA through funding from the local Borough Councils and CLG operates the Action Learning Centre, this involves delivering preventative work on youth homelessness, and working with young people and their parents, who are identified as at risk of becoming homeless, through the local council.
