Bishop’s Stortford YMCA, as the Managing Agent of YMCA England’s Housing scheme, welcomes applications for supported housing from people from all backgrounds.

Local Profile

Bishop's Stortford YMCA provides residential accommodation for vulnerable young adults who are in need of support. Other provision includes: an emergency ‘crash pad’ facility; careers and educational information and advice, as well as intensive 1-to-1 personal development programmes. Furthermore, in 2006 a five year Strategic Development Plan was implemented and this has led to partnerships with private landlords, Probation and East Herts Council, access to five units of ‘move-on’ units of accommodation and taking over the management of a five bed unit in Hertford. We have passed both the Supporting People and Matrix Quality Assurance frameworks.
